Not a public one. The booking form on alpytransfers.com has a field for promotional codes and vouchers, but the site does not publish a code. The FAQ says Alpy Transfers offers the lowest cost service in the resorts it operates in and does not give out discounts lightly; it asks you to email the office to see whether you qualify for a discount, and says the company runs several promotions through the year. The lasting savings are in the terms: free cancellation and free date changes on private transfers, free ski bags on private transfers and the flexible AlpyPLUS shared ticket. If Alpy Transfers publishes a code on its own site, we will add it here with the source and the date.

It depends on the ticket and the notice you give. Cancellations must be made in writing by email or through customer service by phone. A private transfer is refunded in full if you cancel more than 8 days before travel, and by half with 3 to 7 days' notice; for groups of more than 20 passengers, or for a resort outside the list of standard resorts, those refunds are halved again. A standard shared door-to-door ticket gives a voucher for half the price with more than 8 days' notice, and an AlpyPLUS ticket gives a voucher for the full price. Express Line tickets cannot be refunded or changed, and nothing is refunded within 2 days of travel. Extras such as luggage and seat options are not refunded.

Yes, within limits. On a private transfer, changes to the date or time are free with at least 72 hours' notice; between 24 and 72 hours before travel a fee of a fifth of the booking price applies, and within 24 hours the fee rises further. On a standard shared door-to-door ticket a small fee applies with at least 24 hours' notice, while the AlpyPLUS ticket makes those changes free; within 24 hours, shared bookings cannot be changed. Express Line tickets cannot be changed at all. Every change depends on availability.

AlpyPLUS is the flexible version of the shared door-to-door ticket. According to the terms, AlpyPLUS holders can change the booking for free with at least 24 hours' notice and can take the next available transfer for free if they miss their own, where a standard ticket holder pays a rescue fee per person. If you cancel more than 8 days ahead you get a voucher for the full ticket price instead of half. The AlpyPLUS supplement itself is not refunded. It suits you if your flight times are uncertain or you may need to move your dates.

No. The FAQ explains that children and babies must have their own seat by law, so they pay the same rate as adults, and a child may not travel on an adult's lap. Alpy Transfers can supply rear-facing, front-facing and booster seats at a small charge per seat and per journey; you need to request them when you book. If you have paid for a child seat and a coach is provided on the day, where a child seat is not required by law, the seat charge is refunded.

One piece of hand luggage is free on every ticket. On shared transfers, a checked bag, ski or snowboard bags and boxed bikes are charged per item and must be added to the booking. On private transfers, ski and snowboard bags and large bags under 23 kg travel at no extra cost, which makes a private transfer better value than it first looks for a group with ski kit. Boxed bikes are charged on every type of transfer.

On a private transfer the driver waits free of charge for 1 hour after the scheduled pickup on a standard booking and for 2 hours on a premium booking; longer waits are charged as a share of the booking price, if a driver is available. On shared transfers, you may need to pay a rescue fee or rebook, depending on your ticket; AlpyPLUS holders can take the next available transfer for free. Alpy Transfers recommends travel insurance to cover any extra costs.

The About us page lists a price match guarantee for the lowest fares, but the terms and conditions do not explain how a claim works or what it covers. If you find a lower fare for the same journey, email the office before you book and ask how the guarantee applies.
