Yes, through its student fare, which has its own promotion code for the UK. It gives a discount on selected fare classes in Economy, Premium Economy and Business, an extra checked bag and a free flight change. There is no age limit: you need valid proof of student status, such as an ISIC card, a student visa, a student number or an admission letter, and you must show it at check-in. Babies do. An infant ticket is for children from seven days old until their second birthday, and Cathay says the price is usually worked out as a discount on the adult fare. If the adult fare carries no infant discount, the next higher fare that does is used instead. If your baby turns two before the return flight, the child fare applies. Children from two to under 12 get their own seat and the same baggage allowance as adults; Cathay does not publish a child discount on these pages. Each adult can travel with at most two infants.
