Flightright Discount Codes & Deals
Flightright is a passenger rights company, active since 2010, that claims compensation from airlines on your behalf when your flight is delayed, cancelled or overbooked, or you miss a connection. On flightright.co.uk you enter your flight details, find out in about two minutes whether you have a claim, and Flightright takes over the contact with the airline and, if needed, the court case. Flightright does not sell flights, so a Flightright discount code in the usual sense does not exist and none is published on its site. What it offers instead is a free check, no fee unless your claim succeeds, and court costs paid by Flightright if a case is lost. Under the UK261 rules, compensation can reach £220, £350 or £520 per passenger depending on the distance of the flight. Below are Flightright's terms with the conditions and the date we checked them on flightright.co.uk.

How to keep more of your compensation with Flightright▼
- Check first, it is free. The compensation check takes about two minutes and tells you whether your flight qualifies before you commit to anything.
- Look at the fee before you instruct. The percentage for your case is set in the ordering process; the usual range is 20 to 30 per cent plus VAT.
- Send your documents early. Uploading boarding passes and your booking confirmation when you open the claim saves time if the case goes to court.
- Do not accept vouchers by default. Flightright points out that you have the right to a cash refund and do not have to accept vouchers for a cancelled flight.
- Claim older flights too. Flights up to 6 years back can still qualify under UK law.
How we assess Flightright offers▼
Official offer means the term is published on flightright.co.uk and we read it there on the date shown next to each one. Flightright publishes no discount codes, so we list its free services and fee terms instead. This page is not legal advice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a Flightright discount code?▼
No. On 31 October 2026 flightright.co.uk did not publish a discount or promo code, and its FAQ and costs pages do not mention one. Flightright is not a travel shop: it does not sell flights or tickets, so searches for flight discount codes will not find a Flightright code that lowers a fare. What you get is a free compensation check, no fee unless your claim succeeds, and, according to Flightright, no fee at all on a ticket refund if the airline pays within 7 days of Flightright's request. If Flightright publishes a real code on its own site, we will add it here with the source and date.
How much does Flightright cost?▼
Nothing upfront and nothing if the claim fails. If Flightright succeeds, it keeps a success fee, usually 20 to 30 per cent of the compensation plus VAT. If its contract lawyers have to take the airline to court, there is an extra 14 per cent fee, again only if the case succeeds. If a court case is lost, Flightright says it bears all the costs. The exact percentage for your case is shown before you instruct Flightright. For ticket refunds the ticket refund page gives a commission of 30% plus VAT (plus the 14% lawyers' surcharge if applicable).
How much compensation can I claim for a delayed or cancelled flight?▼
Under UK261, which applies to flights departing from the UK and to some flights into the UK, Flightright lists £220 for flights up to 1,500 km, £350 for flights between 1,500 km and 3,500 km, and £520 for flights over 3,500 km. For delays, what counts is arriving at least three hours late, and the airline must be responsible; strikes by air traffic control or airport staff, severe weather and other extraordinary circumstances usually rule out compensation. If your flight is cancelled you may also be entitled to a refund of the ticket price.
How far back can I claim?▼
Flightright says that under UK law you can claim for flights up to 6 years in the past. On its ticket refund page it notes that refund claims expire after 6 years, or 5 years in Scotland.
Can I claim for a package holiday or a missed connection?▼
Yes to both, according to Flightright's FAQ. Package travellers have the same rights under the Air Passenger Rights Regulation. For a missed connection you can claim if you reached your final destination more than three hours late, as long as the flights were on one reservation and operated by the same airline or by airlines with a codeshare agreement. Flightright does not claim extra costs such as transport, meals or hotels; you send those to the airline yourself.
