The Jockey Club Discount Codes & Deals
The Jockey Club runs 15 British racecourses, among them Aintree, Cheltenham, Epsom Downs, Newmarket, Sandown Park, Kempton Park and Haydock Park, and sells tickets, hospitality and memberships for more than 300 racedays a year on thejockeyclub.co.uk. The site publishes no general discount code for tickets, and none of the pages we read mention an NHS, Blue Light or first-order discount. The savings it does offer are written into its own schemes: RacePass 18 to 24 gives you half-price advance tickets at selected racedays, under 18s go free at most fixtures with a paying adult, students can save 30% on Cheltenham racedays with a Student Beans code, and groups of six or more get group prices. Aintree also takes £5 off the gate price for racegoers aged 65 and over. Below you will find each offer with its conditions and the date we checked it on thejockeyclub.co.uk.

How to pay less for a day at the races▼
- Book online in advance. RacePass only works on advance online purchases, Cheltenham's early bird prices end at midnight the day before racing and Nottingham sells £9 tickets only to people who book ahead.
- Bring the children free. Under 18s go free at most fixtures, but not at the big Festivals or music nights, and one adult can bring up to three under 18s. Add their tickets when you book.
- Join RacePass if you are 18 to 24. It costs nothing and halves the ticket price at selected racedays across all Jockey Club racecourses.
- Book as a group of six or more. Groups of 6 to 50 can book online at group prices; for larger groups the Groups Team takes enquiries and can hold tickets while you confirm numbers.
- Sign up to the newsletter. The sign-up page promises raceday discounts and early bird windows for the Festivals.
- Go regularly? Compare an annual membership, such as Cheltenham's Favourite Membership, with the price of single tickets.
How we check The Jockey Club offers▼
Official offer means the offer is published on thejockeyclub.co.uk and we read its conditions there on the date shown with each offer. We copy percentages and prices only as The Jockey Club states them. We do not publish codes from forums or other coupon sites without checking their source and whether they still work.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a Jockey Club discount code?▼
Not a general one. Thejockeyclub.co.uk publishes no discount or promo code for racing tickets, and there is no first-order discount on any of the pages we read. The one code-based saving is the student offer: Student Beans issues a code that takes 30% off selected Cheltenham racedays, and you enter it at the checkout. The partner offers page also lists codes, but those are for other brands' products, not for raceday tickets. Your best savings come from the schemes on the site itself: RacePass 18 to 24, free entry for under 18s at most fixtures, group prices for six or more and advance prices. The newsletter sign-up page also promises raceday discounts and early bird windows to subscribers. If The Jockey Club publishes a real ticket code, we will add it here with its source and date.
Is there a Jockey Club NHS or Blue Light discount?▼
Not that we could find. On 31 October 2026 we read the RacePass, groups, family days, student and concessions pages and the racecourse FAQs, and none of them mention a discount for NHS staff, Blue Light card holders or the armed forces. The concessions The Jockey Club does publish are age-based: free entry for under 18s at most fixtures, RacePass for 18 to 24s, £5 off the gate price for over-65s at Aintree and a lower price on Cheltenham's Favourite Membership for 18 to 28s and over-65s. Disabled racegoers who need a personal assistant can ask for a free ticket for that assistant.
How can I save on Cheltenham tickets?▼
Book early. Cheltenham's FAQ says early bird discounts apply when you book in advance and end at midnight the day before racing. Under 18s with a full paying adult go free at every Cheltenham raceday except the Festival, where children aged 5 and over need a full-priced ticket. Students can take 30% off selected Cheltenham racedays with a Student Beans code. If you go often, The Favourite Membership costs £379 for Club Enclosure access at all 16 fixtures including The Festival, or £245 if you are 18 to 28, over 65 or an Irish or international member. Parking is free at most meetings, but you have to buy a car parking pass in advance for the Saturday of The November Meeting and all four days of the Festival.
How can I save on Aintree tickets?▼
Under 18s go free at Aintree with just two exceptions, music nights and The Randox Grand National Festival, and you add their tickets to your basket when you book adult tickets. Racegoers aged 65 and over get £5 off the gate price on all Aintree racedays except music nights and the Grand National weekend. That concession is only sold on the day, needs photo ID and cannot be combined with other offers. If you are 18 to 24, RacePass halves the price of advance tickets at selected racedays, and groups of six or more can book group tickets online.
Is there a Jockey Club student discount?▼
Yes, for Cheltenham. The Student Beans page on thejockeyclub.co.uk says you can save 30% on Cheltenham racedays: you get a code from Student Beans and apply it at the checkout, and the page lists the racedays it works for. If you are aged 18 to 24, RacePass 18 to 24 is often the better deal, because it is free to join and gives half-price advance tickets at selected racedays at every Jockey Club racecourse.
Can I collect Rewards4Racing points on tickets?▼
The Jockey Club's Rewards4Racing page says you can collect points when shopping or betting online with partners as well as when buying raceday tickets, and spend them on tickets and hospitality upgrades. You cannot use points online or at the gate on the day of an event. The page does not say whether points are awarded on tickets bought after you arrive through a partner or comparison link, so check with Rewards4Racing before you count on them.
What happens if racing is abandoned?▼
The Jockey Club's terms say that if an event is cancelled or capacity is restricted, all applicable ticket purchases are fully refunded. Cheltenham's FAQ adds that you get a full refund if racing is abandoned before the first race and a 50% refund if it is abandoned before the third race or the feature race; tickets bought in advance are refunded automatically. Jockey Club e-gift cards can be used for tickets and hospitality at any of its racecourses and expire 24 months after activation.
