minicabit Discount Codes & Deals

Not a public one. minicabit's help centre says it does not have a specific discount programme; instead, if you sign up to its emails, it sends discount codes at various points through the year, and those codes are time-limited. You enter a code by clicking "Promo code?" after you have chosen your operator. If a friend already uses minicabit, their referral code (or their name in the "Been referred by a friend?" box) gives you £7.50 off your first ride. Only one promotional offer can be applied per booking. If minicabit publishes a code that anyone can use, we will add it here with its source and date.

The scheme is called minicabitMATE. The person referring you signs up in My Account and shares a personal link. When you book your first ride using their referral code, or by entering their first and last name in the "Been referred by a friend?" section at checkout, you get £7.50 off and so do they, £15 shared between you. The referral counts once you have booked and completed that first ride. Regular referrers unlock extra bonuses at 5, 10, 15 and 20 referrals, up to £220 off rides in total.

A Flash Sale is a short-term price cut offered by an individual cab operator, not by minicabit itself. According to minicabit, you can get 10% or £5 off, and the sale is shown on the results page next to that operator's quote. Operators can start one at any time, so compare the results page carefully, especially when you book well ahead.

There is a student discount: minicabit's student taxi page sends you to Student Beans to get it, but the page does not say how much it is worth, so check the amount there. We found no NHS, Blue Light or Armed Forces discount on minicabit.com or in its help centre.

Yes, before the cancellation cut-off time shown on your confirmation page and in your booking email. Cancel through your booking on minicabit (telling the driver or operator is not enough) and, if you paid by card, you get a full refund of the fare, excluding any card costs. After the cut-off there is no refund. For vehicles carrying nine or more passengers the cut-off is normally one week before pickup. If the operator does not turn up within 15 minutes of the agreed time and you do not travel with them, you get a full refund.

Every benefit above was read on minicabit.com and its help centre on the date shown and noted with its conditions. We publish no code without a source, and a benefit that minicabit ends will disappear from this page.
