El Somni Ibiza Dream Hotel by Grupotel
Ibiza, Spain
Best overallLook out over the golden sands and clear waters of San Vicente Beach from this hotel. It is surrounded by some of the natural scenery on the island of Ibiza…
Why this position
Highest guest score of the 21 hotels we rank here: 9.5 from 2,816 reviews. Leads the ranking: a higher guest score than #2 (9.5 to 9.2).

Destino Five Ibiza
Ibiza, Spain
ViewsDestino Five Ibiza is a hillside resort for travellers who want views, design and a pool at the heart of the stay… It sits at Cap Martinet in Talamanca, laid out around an outdoor pool with panoramic views over the Mediterranean, and the rooms are finished in white with large windows. Guests describe the resort as beautifully designed and spotless, praise the friendly team and the relaxed atmosphere, and some return year after year. Three restaurants, a bar and room service mean there is little reason to leave. The trade-offs are modest. Talamanca Beach is a five-minute walk rather than right below the room, and the facilities include a fitness centre but no spa. A few guests noticed small details, such as a wobbly table. Couples and friends who want a stylish base with sea views will feel at home here; anyone set on stepping straight onto the sand is better served by a beachfront hotel.
Why this position
Sits behind #1 on both the score (9.2 to 9.5) and the sample it rests on (702 to 2,816 reviews).

Bonito Ibiza by NCalma Hotels
Ibiza, Spain
Spa & wellnessBonito Ibiza by NCalma Hotels is a San Antonio hotel that guests remember above all for its people… Their comments keep returning to the staff, described as very friendly, helpful and kind, and several guests call them the best part of the stay. Around that service is a five-star setting with a rooftop pool, a sun terrace and a lush garden, spa facilities with a sauna and a steam room, a fitness centre and yoga classes. Rooms have sea views, a minibar and a tea and coffee maker. The drawbacks are few and minor. The hotel's description does not mention beach access, so the rooftop pool takes the place of the sand, and breakfast is rated good rather than outstanding. One guest noticed a smell from the bathroom sink. Couples and friends who value warm service and a relaxed base will be well looked after; anyone set on a beachfront stay should look elsewhere.
Why this position
Rests on more guest reviews than #2 (1,737 to 702), at a slightly lower score (9.1 to 9.2).

Luxury hotels on Ibiza – 4 details you did not know

Ca Na Xica - Hotel & Spa
Ibiza, Spain
BoutiqueCa Na Xica is a former country estate converted into a luxurious hotel. Offering beautiful views and a swimming pool, its spacious, stylish suites all have private terraces or balconies…
Why this position
Among the three highest guest scores of the 21 hotels we rank here: 9.4 from 213 reviews. Scores higher than #3 (9.4 to 9.1), on a smaller body of reviews (213 to 1,737).

Grand Hotel Palladium Santa Eulalia del Rio
Ibiza, Spain
BeachGrand Hotel Palladium Santa Eulalia del Rio is a hotel for travellers who want the beach on the doorstep and a personal welcome… It sits next to Siesta Beach in Santa Eulalia, with direct access to the sand, salt-water pools indoors and outdoors and a sunbed terrace overlooking the bay. Guests describe it as small and attentive, and the staff are what they praise most: professional, friendly and often the same faces year after year. The breakfast, served on a terrace with views, and the bright rooms with a balcony or terrace also earn warm words. There are a few trade-offs. Dining on site is limited to one restaurant and a bar, the style is classic rather than contemporary, and one guest had hoped for a better beach with more comfortable sunbeds. Couples and returning guests who want a calm, well-run base by the sea will feel at home; anyone after sleek design or a range of restaurants should look elsewhere.
Why this position
Rests on more guest reviews than #4 (534 to 213), at a slightly lower score (9.1 to 9.4).

One Ibiza Suites
Ibiza, Spain
One Ibiza Suites is a modern seafront hotel for travellers who want the beach a few steps away and the sea in view… It stands 20 metres from a sandy beach in Ibiza Town, with a rooftop bar looking out to sea, a seasonal outdoor pool and a heated infinity pool for adults only. Guests call the location great, praise the clean and nicely decorated rooms and the excellent breakfast, and single out the concierge for help with boat trips. A second-floor suite with sea views drew particularly warm words. The trade-offs are small. The centre of town is about 15 minutes' walk away, one guest found breakfast a bit pricey, and rooms without a sea view have a much plainer outlook. Couples who book a sea-view room and want an easy stroll to the sand will be well placed; anyone who wants to step straight out into the heart of Ibiza Town should stay closer in.
Why this position
Rests on more guest reviews than #5 (818 to 534), at a slightly lower score (9.0 to 9.1).

NH Collection Ibiza
Ibiza, Spain
NH Collection Ibiza is a town hotel for travellers who want style and service rather than a beach on the doorstep… It sits in Ibiza Town, 400 metres from Pacha, and every room has a terrace or balcony. Guests keep coming back to three points: the location, the stylish and well-kept building, and staff who greet them warmly and stay friendly and professional throughout. The junior suites and the penthouse earn particular praise for being well furnished and comfortable. The trade-offs are modest. There is no beach of its own, so the outdoor pool is where you swim on site, and the bathrooms come with a shower. One guest felt the restaurant menu could be better, although there are three restaurants and a bar to choose from. Couples and friends who want a polished base in town will feel well looked after; anyone who dreams of waking up by the sand should look elsewhere on the island.
Why this position
Scores higher than #8 (9.0 to 8.9), on a smaller body of reviews (241 to 419).

The Standard, Ibiza
Ibiza, Spain

Petunia Ibiza, a Beaumier hotel
Ibiza, Spain
Peace and quietPetunia Ibiza, a Beaumier hotel, is a place to slow down… It sits at Cala Carbó on Ibiza's west coast, next to a nature reserve, and guests keep returning to the same words: beautiful, quiet and relaxed. The staff are praised as wonderful and attentive, the property as impeccably kept, and the overall feel as a boutique hotel with understated quality. Rooms look over the garden or the sea, the pool sits in the garden, and breakfast is among the things guests like most. The trade-offs are practical rather than about the hotel itself. The beach is 550 metres away, Sant Josep de sa Talaia is 12 km off and the airport about 30 minutes by car, so a hire car makes life easier. Bathrooms vary between shower and bath. Couples who want calm, nature and good service will feel at home; travellers who want bars and shops on the doorstep should look for a base closer to one of the island's towns.
Why this position
The same guest score as #10 (8.8), on a smaller body of reviews (341 to 594).

Cala San Miguel Ibiza Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton
Ibiza, Spain
Cala San Miguel Ibiza Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton is a resort for days spent between the sea and the table… It sits on the beach at Puerto de San Miguel, on Ibiza's north coast, and guests describe the cove as lovely and ideal for swimming, with stunning views from the sea-facing rooms and balconies. Staff are praised as kind and helpful, the food and breakfast as delicious, and the rooms as comfortable and chic. Seven restaurants, a rooftop bar and four pools mean there is little reason to leave. The trade-offs are mostly about cost and season. Parking is charged on top, and some guests found the food on the expensive side. In some rooms a glass window separates the bed from the shower, and the pools are seasonal, with one guest finding the poolside bar closed. Couples and friends who want a polished beach base will be happy here; budget-minded travellers should look elsewhere.
Why this position
Guests rate it above #16 (8.6 to 8.6) and on more reviews (1,345 to 948).

The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel
Ibiza, Spain
The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel is built around its spot on the sand… It sits on the beach at Playa d'en Bossa, the rooms look out to sea, and the outdoor pool is open all year. Guests describe the staff as lovely, the service as high-end and the food as delicious, and breakfast is a highlight for several. Some rooms add a balcony, a terrace or a private hot tub, and six restaurants mean meals rarely need planning. The trade-offs are worth knowing. Entrance to the Ushuaïa club is included, and the atmosphere is lively rather than tranquil, which will not suit everyone. Guests in the tower building found it a process to get a lounger by the pool, and one had trouble with a broken door lock. Couples and friends who want the beach outside and polished service will be well looked after; travellers in search of a quiet hideaway should look elsewhere on the island.
Why this position
Guests rate it above #17 (8.6 to 8.6) and on more reviews (1,831 to 1,345).

How we chose these hotels
At our latest review (August 2026) the properties listed above were measured against the same standard: sustained guest scores on both Booking.com and Google (weighted by how many reviews sit behind them), five-star class or an equivalent premium level, a first-rate location, and facilities that set the hotel apart.
As a guideline we look for around 8.5 or higher on Booking.com, but no single number decides on its own. When the sources disagree, the broader evidence wins. Guest scores on this page update continuously, and the selection is re-reviewed at regular intervals. The full standard is described in how we choose hotels.
