Hotel Lobby
Seville, Spain
Best overallHotel Lobby suits travellers who want to stay in the middle of old Seville and still have somewhere stylish to come back to… The hotel fills the refurbished Pickman Palace, and every room is individually designed with its own artwork. Guests speak most warmly about the staff, the generous breakfast and the location, which makes it easy to explore the city on foot. In the evenings the rooftop bar is lively, and the outdoor pool is a welcome break on hot days. The trade-offs are mostly practical. The entrance is on a busy street with no parking or attendant, so arriving by car is awkward, and there are too few sunbeds by the pool. The bold decor is also a matter of taste, and some guests found their room too dark. Couples and city-breakers who want character and a central base will feel at home here.
Why this position
Among the three highest guest scores of the 15 hotels we rank here: 9.4 from 2,228 reviews. Leads the ranking: a higher guest score than #2 (9.4 to 9.0).

CoolRooms Palacio Villapanés 5 GL

Why this position
Sits behind #1 on both the score (9.0 to 9.4) and the sample it rests on (635 to 2,228 reviews).

Hotel Casa Palacio Don Ramón

Luxury hotels in Seville – 3 details you did not know

Vincci Selección Unuk 5 GL
Seville, Spain
Vincci Selección Unuk 5 GL suits travellers who want to explore Seville's old town on foot and still have a pool to come back to… Both the pool and a bar are on the roof, and inside there is a restaurant, a lounge, a sauna and a fitness centre. The rooms are modern and soundproofed, and guests describe them as clean, comfortable and roomy. Above all, guests praise the staff, who are described as friendly, always available and keen to make an occasion special. The drawbacks are minor. The air conditioning did not always behave for every guest, and while there is a sauna and beauty services, there is no full spa. Balconies, terraces and city views also depend on the room type, so check before you book. Couples, friends and families who want a central base with a rooftop to unwind on will be well looked after here.
Why this position
Rests on more guest reviews than #3 (1,244 to 995), at a slightly lower score (9.3 to 9.5).

Cavalta Boutique Hotel - Small Luxury Hotels

Hotel Alfonso XIII, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seville

Hotel Mercer Sevilla 5 GL

Why this position
Scores higher than #6 (9.3 to 9.2), on a smaller body of reviews (169 to 883).

Serras Sevilla
Seville, Spain
Serras Sevilla is for travellers who want to wake up in the middle of the historic centre… The hotel stands on Avenida de la Constitución close to the Cathedral, and guests who could see it from the hotel call the view incredible. Inside, everything is new: a Mediterranean restaurant, a bar, a fitness centre, a rooftop terrace and an outdoor pool that stays open all year. Above all, guests praise the staff, who come across as unusually warm and helpful. The main caveat is simply how new the hotel is. Early reviews are glowing, but there is not yet a long record to judge it by. There is no spa, and the hotel promises city views from its balconies rather than a Cathedral view from every room, so ask when you book. Couples, first-time visitors and families who want the main sights on their doorstep will find an easy, polished base here.
Why this position
Scores higher than #7 (9.7 to 9.3), on a smaller body of reviews (66 to 169).

Hotel Colón, a Gran Meliá Hotel - The Leading Hotels of the World

Eurostars Torre Sevilla
Seville, Spain
Spa & wellnessEurostars Torre Sevilla is for travellers who want Seville spread out beneath them… The hotel fills the top 13 floors of the Torre Sevilla skyscraper, the tallest building in Andalusia, so every room has a panoramic view over the city. Guests describe the rooms as superb and spotless and the staff as friendly and attentive, and breakfast gets regular praise. A spa and wellness centre, a gym and private parking on site make it an easy choice for anyone arriving by car. The trade-off is location. The centre is about a 15-minute walk away, which suits some guests and not others, and the hotel is not in the old town itself. The rooftop bar has the setting but slow service, and parking is pricey. Travellers who value views, space and modern comfort over stepping straight into the old town will find it a rewarding base.
Why this position
The largest body of guest feedback on this page: 6,292 reviews, averaging 9.1. Guests on Booking rate it above #9 (9.1 to 9.1), but it has no Google rating yet, which the ranking weighs equally; #9 has 4.6.

Mercer Plaza Sevilla
Seville, Spain
Mercer Plaza Sevilla is made for travellers who want the old town on the doorstep… It stands on Plaza de San Francisco, and guests repeatedly say they could walk everywhere from the front door. Inside, a modern finish sits alongside traditional elements that have been kept, rooms are described as beautiful and spacious, and the beds are singled out as extremely comfortable. Above all, guests talk about the staff, who come across as kind, attentive and quick to help. The rooftop pool and sun terrace are pleasant for a break between sights, but the area is small and guests found only a couple of loungers, so this is not a hotel for long poolside afternoons. A central square also brings some noise at times, and the bar can be thinly staffed in the evening. Couples who plan to spend their days exploring on foot and come back to a calm, well-kept room will feel at home here.
Why this position
The same guest score as #10 (9.1), on a smaller body of reviews (457 to 6,292).

Radisson Collection Hotel, Magdalena Plaza Sevilla
Seville, Spain
Radisson Collection Hotel, Magdalena Plaza Sevilla is a natural base for a city break built around walking… It stands on Plaza de la Magdalena, less than 1 km from the Giralda, and guests keep returning to the location: right in the shopping area, with restaurants and the main sights a short stroll away. Rooms are described as very clean and comfortable, the staff as helpful, and the guest experience team as quick to solve practical problems. Breakfast is varied and works well for vegetarians. The rooftop is pleasant, with a sun terrace and a jacuzzi that guests enjoyed, but the pool itself is really small, and some found no towels or staff there. A few guests also felt the breakfast was poor value for the price, and cars cannot stop at the entrance in the busy old town. Travellers who want to be out exploring all day will find a clean, central and well-run hotel.
Why this position
Rests on more guest reviews than #11 (1,241 to 457), at a slightly lower score (9.0 to 9.1).

Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento
Seville, Spain
Adults onlyBarceló Sevilla Renacimiento works best for travellers who want space, a pool and easy access by car rather than the old town on the doorstep… It sits on Isla de la Cartuja, 200 metres from Isla Mágica, and several guests chose it precisely for the theme park or its water park. Three contemporary buildings, gardens and two pools give the stay a resort feel, and guests praise the breakfast with show cooking, the quiet, comfortable rooms and helpful staff. During the school holidays the adults-only pool is a welcome retreat. The trade-offs follow from the setting. The centre is a 5-minute drive away, and parking costs extra. The site is large, so expect some walking to reach your room, the pool can feel crowded in summer, and some guests felt restaurant service could improve. Families heading for Isla Mágica and road-trippers looking for a comfortable stop will be well served.
Why this position
Rests on more guest reviews than #12 (4,331 to 1,241), at a slightly lower score (8.7 to 9.0).

Hotel Casa 1800 Sevilla
Seville, Spain

Read our methodologyWhere to stay in Seville?
Areas drawn from our hotels' addresses and updated as the selection changes.
Casco Antiguo
Best for First-time visitorsThis historic central district contains Seville's most famous landmarks, including the Cathedral, Giralda tower, and the Real Alcázar palace. Its narrow streets are filled with traditional dining spots and historic architecture.
Triana
Best for Local culture and diningLocated across the Guadalquivir River, Triana is renowned for its ceramic heritage, lively food market, and flamenco history. It offers a neighbourhood atmosphere within walking distance of the historic centre.
Nervión
Best for Business and transportSituated east of the centre, Nervión is a modern commercial hub home to the Santa Justa train station. It features shopping centres, wide avenues, and straightforward transport connections.
Areas to consider
Staying near the main railway station in Nervión is convenient for regional travel, but the modern surroundings lack the historic charm of the central districts and require a bus or taxi ride to reach major monuments.

Each bar shows how a hotel's nightly price moved over the period, leaving out the most unusual days. The marker is its typical price.
Every hotel counts once, at its own typical price, so hotels we happened to check more often don't carry more weight. Prices are the lowest rate available for the whole stay, worked out per night in euros.

How we chose these hotels
At our latest review (August 2026) the properties listed above were measured against the same standard: sustained guest scores on both Booking.com and Google (weighted by how many reviews sit behind them), five-star class or an equivalent premium level, a genuinely first-rate location, and facilities that set the hotel apart.
As a guideline we look for around 8.5 or higher on Booking.com, but no single number decides on its own. When the sources disagree, the broader evidence wins. Guest scores on this page update continuously, and the selection is re-reviewed at regular intervals. The full standard is described in how we choose hotels.
