Some guests found the rooms and bathrooms tired and less than soundproof, so light sleepers should ask for a quiet room. The location makes up for a lot: Ayia Napa's harbour is about a 10-minute walk away, and a free shuttle runs to Cape Greco National Park, 5 km from the hotel. Couples and families who plan to spend their days by the sea will find a well-run, comfortable base here.

Cyprotel Florida suits travellers who want a well-kept, comfortable base within easy reach of both the sand and the town… It stands on Kryo Nero Avenue, 200 metres from Pantachou Beach, with the restaurants and centre of Ayia Napa close by. Guests keep returning to the same points: rooms that are spotlessly clean and generously sized, staff who are friendly and helpful, and a breakfast with plenty of variety. A bar with a sea-view terrace, and some rooms facing the Mediterranean, add to the appeal. The hotel is simpler when it comes to leisure. The outdoor pool is small for proper swimming, one guest wished it stayed open longer and another found the water cold in October. There is no entertainment programme either, which suits some guests more than others. Couples and travellers who plan to spend their days on the beach and their evenings in town will find a clean, friendly place to come back to.
