Alasia Boutique Hotel
Limassol, Cyprus
Affordable luxuryAlasia Boutique Hotel is a city hotel for guests who value a personal welcome over size… It lies in a central part of Limassol, yet its gardens, outdoor pool and spa with a heated ozone pool make it feel like a retreat. Rooms have wooden floors, double glazing and a balcony over the city or the pool, and some add a spa bath or an outdoor hot tub. Guests speak most warmly about the staff, the breakfast and the cosy, carefully kept atmosphere. The trade-off is the setting. This is not a beach hotel, so time by the sea means leaving the property, and dining centres on the hotel's own restaurant rather than a choice of venues. A few guests noted smaller things, such as dim room lighting and a TV limited mainly to news. Couples and solo travellers who want a calm, well-run base in the city will feel at home; anyone planning a pure beach holiday is better off on the seafront.
Why this position
Scores higher than #8 (9.3 to 8.7), on a smaller body of reviews (650 to 2,607).

Agios Tychonas
Best for Beachfront luxuryLocated east of the city centre, this coastal area is home to the ancient Amathus ruins and a long stretch of sandy beaches. It hosts several of Limassol's premier upscale resorts with direct sea access.
Pyrgos
Best for Marina and wellnessSituated further east along the coast, Pyrgos offers a quieter retreat centred around the St Raphael Marina. The resorts here feature extensive grounds and comprehensive spa facilities.
Germasogeia
Best for Dining and nightlifeA lively coastal suburb situated closer to Limassol's central district, known for its active restaurant scene and retail options. It provides a more urban beachside experience with easy access to the city.
Zakaki
Best for Resort entertainmentLocated on the western outskirts near the port, this area is defined by modern, large-scale entertainment developments. It sits apart from the traditional tourist strips but offers extensive self-contained facilities.
Areas to consider
Consider avoiding the western port suburbs if you prefer direct beach access and a walkable historic centre, as these areas are heavily industrialised and require vehicle transport.

Each bar shows how a hotel's nightly price moved over the period, leaving out the most unusual days. The marker is its typical price.
Every hotel counts once, at its own typical price, so hotels we happened to check more often don't carry more weight. Prices are the lowest rate available for the whole stay, worked out per night in euros.

How we chose these hotels
At our latest review (August 2026) the properties listed above were measured against the same standard: sustained guest scores on both Booking.com and Google (weighted by how many reviews sit behind them), five-star class or an equivalent premium level, a genuinely first-rate location, and facilities that set the hotel apart.
As a guideline we look for around 8.5 or higher on Booking.com, but no single number decides on its own. When the sources disagree, the broader evidence wins. Guest scores on this page update continuously, and the selection is re-reviewed at regular intervals. The full standard is described in how we choose hotels.
