Affordable luxuryLeonardo Crystal Cove Hotel & Spa – Adults only is made for couples and friends who want a calm, adults-only base in Protaras with a spa close at hand… It sits on Konnou Avenue on the way to Cape Greco, and guests like how quickly they reach Fig Tree Bay, the beaches and the main road. Most of the praise goes to the staff, who come across as warm and helpful, to a breakfast of a very high standard and to rooms that feel modern and spotless. The spa and a well-equipped gym round out the stay. The trade-offs are modest but worth knowing. The hotel is not on the beach: Sunrise Beach is 3.6 km away and Konnos Beach 5 km, so plan on short drives or taxis. Guests also find the pool area on the small side, and sound can carry between floors. For a quiet spa stay with attentive service it fits well; anyone who wants sand outside the door will be happier on the seafront.

Kokkinos Boutique Hotel
Protaras, Cyprus
Kokkinos Boutique Hotel is for travellers who want to stay in the middle of Protaras with the sea a short walk away… It stands on Protaras Avenue, 150 metres from Fig Tree Bay, with bars, shops and restaurants all around, and guests name the location more often than anything else. Close behind come the cleanliness, which guests call spotless, the friendly and helpful staff and a breakfast with plenty of choice. Rooms open onto a big balcony over the pool, and private parking makes arriving by car straightforward. The central spot has a flip side. One guest found the hotel a bit noisy, and another felt the air conditioning did not cool the room properly. Small cups in the rooms and at breakfast also drew a comment. For a clean, well-run base with the beach and the evening on your doorstep, it works well; anyone after a secluded hideaway with quiet grounds will be happier outside the centre.
