Luxury hotels in Paphos – 3 details you did not know

Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort
Paphos, Cyprus
BeachCap St Georges Hotel & Resort is built for guests who want to settle in and stay put… It lies in Peyia, north of Paphos towards the Akamas Peninsula, 300 metres from Kafizis Beach, and the resort itself is spacious, with four pools, five restaurants, gardens and a kids' club. Guests describe it as modern and thoughtfully designed, with bright, spacious rooms looking out to sea, and they speak warmly about the attentive staff, the food and the breakfast. One family travelling as three generations found plenty to suit every age. The main trade-off is the location. Peyia lies away from town, and one guest found the resort isolated, though ideal for peace and quiet. The outdoor pool is seasonal, and one guest wanted better light at the dressing table. Families and couples who plan to spend most of their time at the resort will find a calm, well-run base; travellers who like to wander out to bars and tavernas each evening may prefer to stay closer to Paphos.
Why this position
Among the three highest guest scores of the 16 hotels we rank here: 9.5 from 1,466 reviews. Guests on Booking rate it above #3 (9.5 to 9.4), but it has no Google rating yet, which the ranking weighs equally; #3 has 4.8.

Minthis Resort
Paphos, Cyprus
GolfMinthis Resort trades the sea for the hills… It sits at Tsada above Paphos, a short walk from Minthis Hill Golf Club, and guests keep returning to the same words: calm, beauty and nature. Rooms are described as spacious and stylish, many with mountain views, and the infinity pool, the spa with its sauna and the yoga classes set the pace of a stay. The staff earn consistent praise for being friendly, attentive and genuinely helpful, and one guest was glad that pets are welcome. The trade-offs follow from the setting. The grounds are spread out, so a suite at the far end can mean a fair walk, and with two restaurants it pays to book dinner early; one guest found reserving harder than it should be. In peak summer the breakfast room can get loud. The beach and Kato Paphos are a drive away, so the resort suits guests who want to unwind in the hills rather than by the water.
Why this position
Sits behind #4 on both the score (9.4 to 9.5) and the sample it rests on (855 to 1,466 reviews).

Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel
Paphos, Cyprus
Spa & wellnessConstantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel is built for slowing down… It stands on the seafront at Yeroskipou, east of Kato Paphos, with its own beach entrance, two outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool and a spa centre, and every suite has a balcony. What guests talk about most is the service: the staff are described as warm and personal, the grounds as spotless, and the breakfast and food as a real highlight. One guest noted that it never felt crowded even with the hotel full, and some come back year after year. The trade-offs are modest. The building is not new, and one guest felt its age shows in the design. Not everyone is won over by the food either, with one guest wishing for better dishes and another for a wider beer selection. The centre of Paphos is 4 km away, so evenings out mean a taxi or the car. For a quiet, well-run stay by the sea, though, it delivers.
Why this position
Among the three highest guest scores of the 16 hotels we rank here: 9.6 from 185 reviews. Scores higher than #6 (9.6 to 9.2), on a smaller body of reviews (185 to 654).

Annabelle
Paphos, Cyprus
Annabelle is all about location… It sits on Poseidonos Avenue in Kato Paphos, overlooking Paphos Harbour, and guests keep coming back to the same points: a fabulous position, easy access to the sea and pool areas they call fantastic, with a large pool with swim-in caves set among tropical gardens. The staff, especially at reception, are described as welcoming and ready to help with any request, breakfast is praised throughout, and one guest also enjoyed the dinner menu. Arrival begins with fresh juice and a cold towel. The weak spot is the rooms. Several guests find them spacious and comfortable, but others say they need updating, with uncomfortable beds and only a cooler instead of a proper fridge. One guest flagged the Wi-Fi and another found the service at one restaurant unfriendly. If location and pools matter most to you, it is a strong base; if a freshly renovated room matters more, weigh that up before booking.
Why this position
Rests on more guest reviews than #11 (1,268 to 571), at a slightly lower score (9.0 to 9.2).

Imperial Island by Louis Hotels
Paphos, Cyprus
FamiliesImperial Island by Louis Hotels is a beach resort first and foremost… It sits at Yeroskipou with direct access to the beach, and its four pools, among them a children's pool, are close to the sand. Guests speak warmly about the location, the spacious and refurbished rooms, a breakfast that is praised again and again and food that is good and varied, with the Asian restaurant singled out. The staff are described as helpful, one guest found the adult area very peaceful, and families value the children's pool, the play area and the family rooms. A few things are worth planning for. Pool loungers get reserved with towels, the two speciality restaurants need booking and slots are limited, and the veranda where breakfast is served could use a refresh. Paphos Harbour is about a 25-minute walk away. Couples and families who want the beach on the doorstep will be well served; travellers who want to stroll into town for dinner are better placed closer to the harbour.
Why this position
Sits behind #12 on both the score (8.8 to 9.0) and the sample it rests on (92 to 1,268 reviews).

Almyra
Paphos, Cyprus
Almyra suits travellers who want resort comforts without giving up the town… It sits in tropical gardens by the sea in Kato Paphos, and Paphos Harbour is about a 5-minute walk away, so the bars and restaurants along the seafront are easy to reach on foot. Guests talk most about how clean and well kept the hotel is, the polite and efficient staff, the generous buffet breakfast and the calm atmosphere around the five freshwater pools and the spa. The trade-offs are modest but worth knowing. Breakfast gets busy after 9am, and one guest found that the canopy over the breakfast area did not keep the rain out. Some guests found the rates high, and a few felt the rooms could be cosier or wanted brighter light by the bathroom mirror. Couples who want a calm base with the harbour on the doorstep will be well looked after here; travellers hunting for value above all else may prefer to look further.
Why this position
Guests rate it above #13 (8.8 to 8.8) and on more reviews (1,124 to 92).

Kato Paphos & Yeroskipou Coast
Best for First-time visitorsThis central coastal strip combines the archaeological park of Kato Paphos with the resort beaches of neighbouring Yeroskipou. It offers walking access to ancient ruins, tavernas, and seaside promenades.
Chloraka & Coral Bay
Best for Quiet coastal retreatsSituated just north of the city centre, this coastal stretch offers pocket beaches and access to the sandy bay at Coral Bay. It is well-suited to those wanting a relaxed atmosphere while remaining within a short drive of Paphos harbour.
Polis & Latchi
Best for Secluded nature escapesLocated on the northern coast near the Akamas Peninsula, this region is defined by its fishing harbour and pebble beaches. It sits roughly 40 minutes' drive from Paphos town, making it suitable for a quieter, nature-focused stay.
Areas to consider
Visitors seeking a quiet, traditional Cypriot atmosphere may wish to avoid the high-density resort strips of central Kato Paphos, which can become crowded and noisy during the summer season.

Every hotel counts once, at its own typical price, so hotels we happened to check more often don't carry more weight. Prices are the lowest rate available for the whole stay, worked out per night in euros.

How we chose these hotels
At our latest review (August 2026) the properties listed above were measured against the same standard: sustained guest scores on both Booking.com and Google (weighted by how many reviews sit behind them), five-star class or an equivalent premium level, a first-rate location, and facilities that set the hotel apart.
As a guideline we look for around 8.5 or higher on Booking.com, but no single number decides on its own. When the sources disagree, the broader evidence wins. Guest scores on this page update continuously, and the selection is re-reviewed at regular intervals. The full standard is described in how we choose hotels.
